HIV Weekly - October 17th 2007

A round-up of the latest HIV news, for people living with HIV in the UK and beyond.

Happy 20th Birthday NAM!

This is NAM’s birthday month.  It is exactly 20 years since the organisation was set up to counteract the flood of inaccuracy and hysteria that then surrounded HIV with calm, authoritative and evidence-based information.

We’ve been set a birthday challenge by one of our regular supporters.  He’s generously offered to donate £1 for every birthday donation we receive before World AIDS Day on 1 December.  Please help us raise as much as possible.  We really need your support to continue our vital work to ensure the best quality information is available to those who need it.

So please help us meet this challenge and make a donation today!

In our birthday year, there remains as great a need as ever for calm, accurate, evidence-based information on HIV.  We need your help to continue to provide information to the increasing numbers of people affected by HIV.  And the more donations we receive the more funds we’ll raise!

Please give your donation today.   There is still a vital need for authoritative, accurate information on HIV.

Thank you.  Your support is greatly appreciated – and, being a small charity, it goes a long way and makes a real difference.
