We had a lovely surprise last week when an amazingly generous donation cheque for £1000 arrived in the post from the Brownlee Centre in Glasgow.

Gillian Mulholland, Senior Charge Nurse at the Brownlee Centre, explained they had been able to make the donation thanks to money raised at the Glasgow Gay Ball which took place earlier in the year. Gillian said

"I am so glad we could make a donation, the information that NAM supplies is such a valuable asset to us here at the Brownlee. The donation is well deserved for the fantastic publications and with all the help NAM has given us with regards to developing our own resources."

NAM can only continue to provide our vital information support thanks to charitable donations from people who use and value our information and services. So we would like to say a very large “thank you” to Gillian, John and all the staff and patients at the Brownlee Centre – your donation is hugely valued by all at NAM and will make a real difference to our work.
