NAM is the official provider of online scientific news for the conference.
We’ll be reporting on key research presented at the conference, publishing news online and sending out three summary bulletins by email, one during the week of the conference and two the following week. The bulletins will be available in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Italian. If you already receive NAM’s regular email bulletins, you will automatically receive our conference bulletins. If you don’t, make sure you sign up so you don’t miss out.
All our conference news stories and bulletins will be published on our EACS 2019 webpage.
The European AIDS Conference
The European AIDS Conference is a biennial conference which aims to bring together scientists from all over Europe to share the latest research on clinical aspects of HIV.
“With the landscape of HIV and AIDS continually evolving, the 17th European AIDS Conference, drawing on the best and latest science, will be at the forefront of helping you translate these developments into daily clinical practice. We plan to create not only a stimulating scientific programme but also an innovative space where you can meet, learn and share science and experiences with fellow clinicians.” Prof. Jürgen Rockstroh, EACS President and EACS Conference Co-Chair and Prof. Manuel Battegay, Local Conference Co-Chair.
This year’s conference will feature research on:
- Integrase inhibitors and weight gain
- STIs in the era of PrEP and U=U (‘Undetectable equals Untransmittable’)
- PrEP use in Europe
- Simplifying antiretroviral treatment
- New European treatment guidelines.
The scientific programme for the conference is now available online, with details of sessions and lectures, workshops and courses, and e-posters.
