Provide wide-ranging services, based on need, to people living with HIV in the North West. Access to the service is through an initial appointment with an experienced services adviser. The person can then be referred into secondary services within the agency like counselling, training courses and peer support and also referred to other specialist services outside of GHT. Service users are able to access services advisers for appointments with short notice to discuss any issues they need to and can also come along to many of the spaces that take place at different days and times of the week. Advice provided is on a wide range of issues including new diagnosis, treatment, disability discrimination, welfare rights, benefits, asylum and immigration, disclosure, criminalisation of HIV Transmission, relationships and general health and wellbeing management.
