Black African Services Development
Development of sexual health promotion and HIV prevention with the Black African/Caribbean (BAC) communities in and around Bristol. Drop-in is available, but clients should call first to find out when it is available.
Buddying
Volunteer service providing community-based practical and emotional support for people living with HIV.
Positive Living Project
People with HIV offering information and support on treatments to anyone affected by HIV. Treatment roadshow and one-to-one sessions available.
Complementary therapies
Free massage, aromatherapy, shiatsu and reflexology.
Drop-in centre
Meals and activities.
Counselling
One-off sessions and counselling contracted over a period of time.
Groups
A range of groups for all people affected by HIV/AIDS.
Education and Training
For a variety of agencies including social services, health, schools and community groups.
Health Promotion Team
Proactive preventive work on the gay scene, with faith groups, in African communities and with men who sell sex to men.
HIV Information Service
Respond to requests from the public as well as producing a regular newsletter and in-house publications. Library facilities for those undertaking research.
