Confidential HIV testing is available during clinic times. No appointment necessary. Results available within one week via automated results line.

PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis)
PEP available during clinic hours. For PEP outside clinic hours please attend A&E.
HIV treatment and care
Out patient treatment and care for those diagnosed with HIV
Additional clinical services
Joint ante-natal care for HIV positive pregnant women. Anal cancer screening using high resolution anoscopy. Laser treatment for warts and pre-cancer in the genital and anal region.Diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases affecting the genital area.
Health Advisers
Provide pre- and post-test discussion and ongoing support to those who test HIV-positive. Offer information and advice on all sexually transmitted infections. Client work includes working with issues around safer sex,risk reduction, relationships, sexual assault, and living with HIV.Link with other services both locally and London-wide, including HIV social services, and can make referrals where appropriate.

Social care Co-ordinator
Social care support with issues relating to Finance Housing Immigration and Isolation in conjunction with social care providers and third sector specialists. Appointments can be made via reception following a referral from the team.
Inpatient care
Provided at the Andrew’s Unit, St Bartholomew's Hospital, for Homerton patients.
HIV dietetic services
Provides nutritional assessment and specific advice on issues such as managing symptoms of weight loss, food hygiene and safety, use of complete nutritional supplements, complementary dietary practices, vitamin and mineral supplementation, and eating well on a low income.
Family planning services
The family planning nurse is available during clinic hours; no appointment necessary.

Clinical psychology services
Provides a psychological assessment and therapy service for people experiencing problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship or family difficulties, sexual dysfunction, bereavement and problem behaviours.
Approaches offered include cognitive and behaviour therapy, brief psychotherapy, psychosexual therapy and family/couples work.

Research centre
The Centre for the Study of Sexual Health and HIV (CSSHH) works on projects that improve understanding of HIV and sexual health from a broad perspective. We have strong links with other research organisations, community groups and voluntary sector partners.
