Nurses and other health workers in sub-Saharan Africa are taking on new roles and tasks. This process ('task shifting') is increasing access to treatment and care for people with HIV.

In the first of a new series, HIV & AIDS treatment in practice (HATIP) focuses on useful tools and examples to support nurses as they take on these roles.
