Pregnancy

There have been no clinical studies of the safety and efficacy of delavirdine (Rescriptor) in human pregnancy. However, despite abnormalities in animal studies, there have been reports of at least ten children born to women who have taken delavirdine during pregnancy with no abnormalities.The use of delavirdine during pregnancy is recommended only if the potential benefit outweighs the risk.
