dOTC is a failed anti-HIV drug that was developed by BioChem Pharma. Its development was suspended in 1999 when toxicity developed in cynomolgus monkeys given the drug for over six months.

dOTC is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor similar in structure to 3TC (lamivudine, Epivir) and FTC (emtricitabine, Emtriva). A related compound, AVX754, is currently under development by Avexa.
