Job Grant
You may be eligible for a job grant if you start employment that is expected to last more than five weeks, and is at least 16 hours per week, and you have received either, Income Support, Incapacity Benefit, Job Seekers Allowance, or Severe Disablement Allowance for the previous 26 weeks. It is paid at two rates of £100 or £250 depending on your circumstances, and is paid automatically if you notify the DWP within 21 days of commencing employment.
If you are under 25 and the benefit you have been getting is JSA, you would not qualify for a job grant unless you are a loan parent.
