We are very excited to report that NAM's website aidsmap.com has been rated `excellent` in a survey of HIV-related internet resources for the practicing clinician published in the October 1st edition of the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases.

The review, carried out in early 2010 by HIV physicians from hospitals in New York and Boston, scored websites identified through search engines. The websites were evaluated on the following criteria: fulfilling the criteria of the Health on the Net code of conduct; inclusion of references to the relevant medical literature; current and up to date information, and ease of navigation.

Sites were evaluated on a scale of 1 to 4 according to how well they met these criteria. Among the comprehensive resources Aidsmap scored 4 (excellent), along with:

Aidsmap was the only non-US website to receive an `excellent` rating.
