Pregnancy

Atazanavir is only recommended in pregnancy if potential benefits outweigh the risks. There is little known about the drug's use in pregnancy. In a small observational study involving nine pregnant women, the drug was well tolerated. Six of the women used ritonavir-boosted atazanavir.1
