New TB/HIV research you want to share? Make a note of these abstract deadlines…

The deadline for abstract submissions to the 19^th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012) is fast approaching. The deadline is February 15^th 2012.

Conference co-chair Dr Diane Havlir, who is also chair of the TB/HIV Working Group of the Stop TB Partnership, urged HATIP readers to submit abstracts.

“Please have your own groups and encourage your colleagues to submit data to the International AIDS Conference coming up this summer. HIV/TB will be a key topic at this meeting. We have the opportunity to have some terrific discussions there and advance these issues.”

Late breaker submission will be available between 19 April 2012 and 22 May 2012 for data not available by the regular abstract submission deadline.

The 19^th International AIDS Conference takes place from 22-27 July in Washington DC, United States. Registration at the standard fee closes at midnight on 23 February 2012 after which a higher rate applies.

The 3^rd South African TB conference takes place 12-15 June 2012 in Durban. The submission deadline for abstracts is 3rd February.
