Live on, live long

Twenty-one years on… I have been living with HIV for 21 years and I am now on second-line treatment. When I am doing counselling with people who are HIV-positive, I tell them that I have another 50 or more years to live.

I am now 41 years old and I feel just as young as if I am 18 years. I do morning exercise every day and I encourage all of you to aim higher and higher.

With this experience, I am now working on a programme which is encouraging HIV-positive women to live on and also telling them that they can have babies who are HIV-negative. Happy to note that we have achieved 98% having children who are not infected from this programme. Thanks to the Clinton Foundation for this initiative.

Live on, life is what you make. If you want to live long say, think about it, work for it. Cheers.
