Cancer of the eye or eyelid

The conjunctiva is the clear membrane that coats the inside of the eyelids and the outer surface of the eye. Cancer found in this region is a type of squamous cell cancer called conjunctival cancer. As with multiple myeloma, despite suggestive evidence of increased incidence among people with HIV, research indicates that risk of conjunctival cancer does not risk with increasing immune damage.1
